This basketball sneaker, designed by Erik Hernandez, was a dream to work on. Derrick Rose is a huge name but more than that, there were just so many different ways to block and treat and materialize and, and, and …
The Christmas color way, in my humble (and obviously biased) opinion, is one of the best Christmas PEs there’s ever been. It’s not Kobe’s ‘Grinch’ but this shoe caught some sleeper attention. We never ended up making them commercially (which was a mistake) so I’m not sure how many pairs are even around anymore. It currently trades at about $1000 on StockX. One of my favorites in the portfolio and I don’t even have a decent picture of it.
The White/Gum is another that I fell in love with, as well as the classic Black upper, White tooling, and Red stripes. unfortunately wearing high-tops makes me look shorter than I already am so these just look pretty on the shelf now.
