ILLUSTRATING MY WAY-OF-WADE PORTFOLIO AND CREATING A YEAR BOOK.

I have a thing for making books.

After my first season with the Way of Wade creation team I was pretty proud of what we had created. I took part in the launch of a superstar at a massive Chinese athletic brand and my art was announcing it all. I wanted to document our season but sometimes photography just doesn’t cut it. Instead I opted for super simple illustrations of each article we made that season which was then made into a limited run of yearbooks.

Still one of the highlights of my career is to have watched Dwyane Wade walk onto a basketball court wearing a pair of custom sneaks I had made for him. It was pretty great to document them along side all of the other amazing work we did for him that first season.

This was the first time I was given the keys to the car and told to drive as fast and as crazy as I’d like to. We made WILD shit that season and had an amazing time doing it.
