A LAST SECOND ASSIGNMENT, DESIGNED UNDER PRESSURE, WITH A TIGHT TIMELINE.

The Carbon 4D Run project exchanged hands several times before landing on my desk with very little time to complete the model’s seasonal range. There were different categories to collaborate with, a Super Bowl to design for, and the Olympics to tie into.

This is one of the first times the Carbon 4D tooling was given a commercial release and wasn’t just a hype drop. Blocking such a simple shoe is not too hard but creating energy depended largely on bright color drops hence some of the eye-popping color ways for the launch, the Olympics, and the Friends & Family articles.
